Progressive Era
Progressivism is an umbrella label for a wide range of economic, political, social, and moral reforms. These included efforts to outlaw the sale of alcohol,regulate child labor and sweatshops,scientifically manage natural resources, insure pure and wholesome water and milk,Americanize immigrants or restrict immigration altogether; and bust or regulate trusts.
Womens suffrage
The women's suffrage movement (aka woman suffrage) was the struggle for the right of women to vote and run for office and is part of the overall women's rights movement.
Prohibtion era
The Prohibtion Era lasted from 1920 through 1933, and was an attempt to legislate morality. It took a Constitutional amendment to enact it, and another one to repeal it. The attempt to decrease the evils of alcohol actually created more and new types of crime.

Carrie Amelia Moore Nation was an American woman who was a radical member of the temperance movement, which opposed alcohol before the advent of Prohibition. She is particularly noteworthy for attacking alcohol serving establishments with a hatchet.

Trenches were 500 miles long with barbed wire and land mines everywhere. They lasted for days before they battle would win. They would just waste people lives just so they can advance.
The Western Front
The Germans started the submarine warfare. They were the most advance nation in the war. The US framed Germany so we could get in the war. The zimmermans note was a fake telegraph the US created so we could get in the war.
